Sens fan here, the flyers are such a fun team to watch this year. Torts has them playin the right way- but that’s no surprise. I didn’t really understand where this team was going in the future but I think it’s clear it will be playoffs really soon if not this year! So many good young forwards like brink and foerster. That market deserves a good team, love to see it!

Pens PP was bottom-3 BEFORE this game. (0-2 tonight). Beyond time for Rierden to be let go. Team is not clicking, not scoring, and thank the Lord for Jarry and Ned as they are holding the fort down. (Defense is "better", but that's not saying a whole heck of a lot). If Sullivan is recalcitrant to fire Rierden (Imagine if at your job you were one of the bottom-ranked employees) then wish Sully well and help him pack. GMKD is burning drop zone by waiting. Rearranging players does nothing when the PP system is flawed from the get-go. Same with the offense. (Essentially Sid's line is carrying the team)

not true at all. That's why he got fired from coaching the rangers and canucks. The canucks in fact were cup contenders until torts ran them into the ground. Also when he was coaching the US team they got embarrassed in the preliminary round. The only time he won a championship was when he was coaching a stacked roster in Tampa.

The Penguins should be apologizing to their fans and the NHL for the disgusting effort they threw up on the ice last night...On another putrid Penguins PP(0 for their last 29), the Flyers had 3 breakaways....yes 3! The only reason the game was closer was the Pens goalie, Ned who bailed out the PASS HAPPY, INEPT, BLIND PENGUINS who couldn't complete 2 passes in a row, and most of the time anyone on the team touched the puck they either lost control of it on their own or were stripped of the puck.....Mike Sullivan stood there the entire game red faced but didnt have the common sense to call a time out and chew out his team that more resembled a high school team...PATHETIC!!

*I'm just glad the Pens got at least one point in the last two games, but OT/SO losses are NOT gonna cut it if they're trying to make a serious playoff run. And their power play....don't get me friggin' started!*

i said this in the summer. Pitts needed to trade Malkin and Letang. Bring a couple of first rounders and young players to play with Crosby. It's better to start rebuilt now. But I guess they are taking the long way. Right now if you could trade Malkin, Letang and Karlson. You could get really good young talent. Crosby could show them the a few good things. Pitts is done. I expect them not to make the playoffs.

Flyers should've won by more. The Pens had really lucky bounces. But, that the first game since I believe the Sens game, where the Flyers weren't completely dominating zone time. Even the games they lost, they were the better team.

Pittsburgh was LUCKY to even get a point out of this one. If TK had missed anymore WIDE ass open SH breakaways, I was gonna throw something at the tv!!!! The KFC line was dominant, and 2/3's of it won the game!! Foerster is a speed machine, that can apparently shoot the puck as well. Lol This was an awesome game to watch, if you're a Philly fan, and Pittsburgh better thank their lucky stars they had nedeljkovic starting in net, otherwise they were as good as toast!! Cheers!!

Elbowing - Elbowing shall mean the use of an extended elbow in a manner that may or may not cause injury. Which Crosby DID extend his elbow upwards and leaned into it shortly before the contact. 3. A hit resulting in contact with an opponent’s head where the head was the main point of contact and such contact to the head was avoidable is not permitted. Combine this with 1, it was avoidable, and York was in a defenseless position, but Crosby decided to come in from the blind side and followed through with an illegal hit to the head with the head being the main point of contact. You can be a homer all you want, but rules are rules, and Crosby's hit is a penalty. He was hunting for that hit, whether the head contact was intentional or not, he is still responsible for it.
