I don't think we appreciate how good he really is. How many years has it been where he HASN'T been chasing some crazy stats? First it was 150 points, then it was 2 ppg, then it was 60 goals, and now it's 100+ assists. Next year he's going to learn how to fight and set the record for most Gordie Howe hat tricks in a season. And when he gets older and (maybe?) loses a step, he'll strap on some goalie pads and challenge some of Hasek's numbers.

Boys took a close game and completely blew it open in the third!! Great work and great result! My only criticism is that the Oilers need to start better, and based on Ekholm's post-game interview, I think they know it just as well as us fans do. Other than that, though, terrific job to overcome the early deficit. Ekholm had a fantastic game, Stu made some good saves, McDavid and Drai lit it up with assists, and Hyman's two away from 50! Hope the boys crush those Leafs on Saturday, let's go!!

McDavid 2022-2023 64 goals, 89 assists, 153 points 2023-2024 so far 26 goals, 86 assists, 112 points with 15 games left to play. He's had every season but 2 with 100 points or more. If you ask most delusional leaf fans, they'll say Mathews is better where Mathews has only one season with 100 points or more. Mathews has 89 points and Mathews almost has that in just assists alone. They'll say that Mathews is the better goal scorer and that McDavid isn't scoring goals. Well, he got 64 last year but he still got more assists than goals. McDavid is an all around player where as Mathews only tries in the neutral zone and the offensive zone. How those fools compare Mathews with McDavid is beyond me. Can't even compare Mathews with MacKinnon or Kucherov or Pastrnak to name a few. Also I'm happy that Hyman is on a team that is better suited for him. Ever notice how so many players and goalies that got traded from the leaf's do a lot better and then go on to win a cup lmao. Go Oilers go. This should be your year.

That Buffalo loss was brutal. You can see the exact moment when they realize the Playoffs just aren't the the cards for them and they just give up. It becomes open season on UPL after that, he didn't deserve that after all he did to get them to that point. He had every right to be mad.

Not a whole lot he could with that goal. It was basically a 2-0 down low. Buffalo skaters more or less stopped playing and the Oilers just picked them apart via puck movement.
