No, those types of hits are dangerous and make my heart race when I see them! The NHL needs to do something about those types of hits. I am a Flyers fan, but I never want to see players injured

You can say all you want dude but fighting and having an enforcer on the team is the core of what hockey is. you think a lot of the guys who won so many Stanley cups back in the day would have been able to have been that talented and that good if they didn't have a bunch of enforcers surrounding them making sure that they were protected.

Some of the teams in the NHL right now hire players just to do dirty crap like this. I think one way to sort of stop it is to suspend players for the rest of the season who go over a certain amount of penalty minutes or have too many game misconducts. That’ll chill the Bruins, Flyers, Blue Jackets, Stars, and any other team that likes to sign players who do nothing but this.

I watched that game and just prior to the, he got decked hard with 2 nasty cross checks which sent him to the ice. You can see him laying in front of the goalie slowly getting up after the second. I think it was more frustration for the missed calls and let his emotions get the best of him. Half a second earlier and it would've been a big clean hit.
