mustard actually gets rid of cramps pretty instantly. i used to keep a couple packets in my snowboard jacket in case my back leg cramped up on a powder day.

Chara actually got in trouble for that, because Pepsi was an NHL sponsor. He said he liked Coke, they told him to not get caught drinking one on camera again.

During early morning games my goalie had his donut sitting in cup holder at the bench, between the periods he came to eat ... I wish I filmed that

Most guys dummy a banana or two between intermission and maybe a cookie, good way to bring up blood sugar and reduce lactic acid. Several players now drink coke, dr pepper, or cola's in between periods too. When I played Jr. I used to eat a couple oreos.
