Well, it ended up costing the Caps the game, literally. The only goal the Wild scored on their own was in the last minute when they were on a 6-5 scenario. Also, this has to be the first time in history a team’s two goals came from a 6-5 and 5-6 scenario.

Nah, I'd say Kuzy's breakaway series ending goal against the penguins on their home ice a couple years ago was one of the best goals the Caps have scored. The perfect leading touch pass from Ovi really made it a wonderful play all around. I also would put any of the greatest goal scorer of all time's (Ovechkin) goals above this one. I do have to admit this own goal was pretty damn funny though.

Minnesota had a delayed penalty so, the play would’ve been called dead by the refs as soon as an MN player touched the puck. Teams will pull their goalie to get an extra attacker on the ice for as long as they can hold possession of the puck with a delayed penalty because it’s essentially extra power play time. Hope that helps explain why he wasn’t in net!

Well it used to be the play would be blown dead once the team that took the penalty touched the puck. Now it's once they control the puck. So if it's just a touch or deflection the play is not dead. They actually have to control/possess the puck now before the play is blown dead.

Not aj easy job refereeing for you. I look up to all hockey refs. The man has only a fraction of a second to see from a tough angle and decide on any issue Yes or No, where fans and commentators have the comfort a few slow motion repetitions from various angles to see for themselves and judge the judge. The horn - I know it's supposed to be negative, but it shouldn't embarrass the ref, cause the fans will always be the negative and biased smart turds.
