Demigod is playing in the KHL. It is written in stone. HUGO spoke with SKA reps yesterday. They have a development plan for him this year in the K.

his personality was absolutely not suited to be our captain. he's a prickly sort, and now he's lost most of his skill. why would we take him back? nostalgia only works when the player is a guy you like. how many isles fans want tavares back? hard no on patches. he doesn't add anything we need. much rather have joshua roy or demidov if he comes over taking that top six spot.

You are confusing Michkov and goalie Alexei Kolosov. Michkov wasn’t at a training in Russia, that was Kolosov who showed up to training last week with Dinamo Minsk despite Flyers having him on ELC.

Great report Mike! 1. I think Demidov is NHL-ready, and feel he was the BEST player in the draft!!!! If Celebrini is thought to be good enough Demidov is definitely good enough. 2. McGoarty has done ZIP in the NHL....not worth hype YET! 3. Re: Pacioretti.....sorry Max....Habs aren't interested.

Not sure what's the big deal with McGoarty. He was pick 15th. He hasn't done anything that makes me think he should go much higher in a re-draft. I don't see a surefire star player here. Maybe, but maybe he disappoints too. This talk about a roster player, a prospect and a 1st is madness. I heard they're asking for Ghule or Reinbacher. If that's the case, you can keep him.

So, if you have the talent and skillset to do something but instead of going after it you sit and allow someone with less skill go ahead of you or other people who may not have your best interests in mind tell you to stand still and do nothing, that would be fine? Forget that! If the kid feels he can play and someone out there is willing to give him a shot more power to him and tuff break on the team that let him get away.

@@AnaheimRob A selfish, me first locker room cancer is not worth giving a dime for! If he isn't good enough to make the Jets lineup, he likely won't be good enough to crack the Habs lineup either, and will be asking for another trade before having gotten to the big show! If he has the skill, the Jets will put him in the lineup, but he ain't quite there yet, and might never make the NHL!

@@nathanadrian7797 GM's know full well what they are potentially getting into when they draft college players. Until those rules are changed that's just the way it is. This happened with the Ducks last season with Thrun. The thing is I didn't blame him and neither did most Ducks fans. He was a very good D prospect and probably would have been a top two D prospect on any other team. The Ducks are loaded with D prospect that project better than him. He knew it would take years with the Ducks so he walked away. He let them know and they were able to get OK value for him with the Sharks...Where be became an everyday-ish player right off the bat. I don't think he was selfish at all. I actually agree he made the best choice for his career and livelihood. As far as Rutger McGroarty goes I haven't seen anything out there that he is not likeable or that he is a bad seed in the locker room. If he is so be it, but if he isn't and it didn't work out, don't get worked up. Just hope the team can get worthwhile compensation...which they should. Hell, trade him to the Ducks for a package. We have a ton of solid D depth and a few halfway decent forward prospects.

@davidsine1222 I believe the jets would have an additional year before he is lost for free. But as a young highly touted prospect that wants to play in NHL as soon as possible. He would have another year he would be under RFA status, when he eventuallysigns a pro contract. I'd think he wants to be pro asap to maximize how many years he would make pro money. I dunno I think it would be wise to losen his commands a bit.
