If it doesnt cost much for the Avs then it could be a win-win for both teams. He has a wicked shot and great work ethic but hes having to play the Leafs new grinding, defensive style and its just not his game, his confidence is shot. If he goes to a team thats built around the rush then maybe he can get back to a 20 goal pace
