BTS is one of the groups which has never gone through any dark side of Kpop. They built their company from scartch and are now share holders. Their chairman ( earlier CEO) respect them and treats them like sons. BTS frm their 1st song onwards contributed heavily to song writing & production bcz unlike other Kpop groups, they were given artistic freedom. BTS rap line were already underground rappers before they joined BIg HIT and hence BTS is not typical Kpop group which is molded by label as this video says, but they r the most organic group. The rapline of the BTS actually helped the younger ones and all of them r 100% artists. BTS is so powerful that RM( leader of BTS) even stopped their company from investing in crypto, by doing one power point presentation abt how it would badly affect the environment and other things. BTS is the backbone of not only their company but also of the entire Kpop industry. South Korea and Kpop is now waiting for them to resume group activities bcz Kpop has been on downpath since their enlistment.

As a person who has been following BTS since 2017, I can assure everything aflu said in this video is absolutely true, K-pop is one of the toxic music industries out here and the companies have inhuman contracts for the idols, they have to sacrifice lot. In the early years, it wasn't as toxic as it is now, but recently the things going on in K-pop companies are so disturbing tbh if someone close to me asks "Should I become a K-pop idol?" my answer will be a NO.
