Yes, yes, yes :) This series delivers... I think it's getting more interesting as it goes on. The format of this discussion works well. I think that seeing the different contributions from Jonathan and Hailey creates an interesting contrast. I find the way you are highlighting how Ni perceptions may vary between NF and NT, is useful and something that I have thought about a lot. Seeing it laid bare like this is making things conceptually clearer. It's so relatable when you're asking Jonathan and Hailey for every day life examples of Ni experiences and the Ni is coming up blank, because Si is in the shadow and so concrete examples aren't easily accessed. I can see that you guys are really trying to get to the bottom of this. I like the way you were squeezing them for more info, lol.

Is it possible to type someone with MBTI different from its sociotype? Like INTJ ILE, or ESTP IEE? I ask because I’ve seen people typing like that and I don’t get how both socionics and mbti relate at all.

If you read the profiles on wikisocion.org or .net. I forget which is the present one, you can decide for yourself. However, my opinion is that the socionics intuitive types are describing the same 8 abstract types that Keirsey-Berens-Nardi are describing. For example, David Mark Keirsey is the the main basis of the Keirsey INTP profile. It's also based on David West Keirsey himself. I think the ESXX mostly translate over meaning if you read the profiles, you can see they are same 4 types. The difference comes with the ISXX types. Those don't translate across.

@@BenVaserlan Thanks! I get the idea and the difference between introverts in both typing systems.

@@mr.oldvhs To clarify, I think the INXX translate across well eg INTJ and INFJ are directive in Keirsey. Keirsey has the NTJs as strategic thinkers and the NTPs as into systems and models. The NFJs are into directing people in a mentor role. INFP and INTP are Accommodators ie a Behind the Scenes interaction style. Another way to look at it is this: MBTI ISTPs and ENFPs dislike each other. They are opposites as soconics predicts. But socionics would type many ISTPs as SLI the dual of IEE. Many MBTI ISTJs and ENFPs get on well.

@@BenVaserlan Yeah, sometimes it is difficult for me when it comes between these differences and how they relate to their dual or conflictive partner, or even their temperament (the IJ and IP thing).

@@mr.oldvhs I suggest you watch this video of mine where I double and single conflictors. A double conflictor is a type opposite in socionics and in Keirsey. kzbin.info/www/bejne/jneXoX2riZlsoZY
