to be honest I think even those are garbage. Less garbage. But garbage in a different way. While the actors aren't bad, it completely devastated immersion in that game. You are in Japan with Japanese characters... Speaking English... And the pronunciation of Japanese words gets butchered sometimes. Them saying names feels completely weird. I'd rather listen to Japanese voices in a Japanese setting. In a "western" setting like the US or UK I'd always listen to English, unless its garbage. Metal Gear for example had a great English dub. If it's Fantasy I'll go for whichever sounds the best.

I'm going to get shit for this but I actually didn't touch Persona 5 for a long while because I kept seeing Morgana and just presumed the character would be annoying and kept setting the game down. Months later I bought it used and kicked myself for not giving it a chance sooner. I have NO CLUE AT ALL if this is the same case here but if you want to play it, just give it a chance. Sometimes art styles grow on you, especially if gameplay compensates for it.

The enemy might in skirmishes confused me at first because I thought they would go down as you killed the enemies but they changed after reaching certain points in the skirmish. I also can't usually tell what is happening in them because off all the people. Everything after Goldpaw also felt different because it wasn't as heavily marketed. I also feel as if Leander should have had a different appearance at first because he just seemed totally out of place in the blue of Hydropolis.
