Awesome trip to Niagara and the surrounding area. We visited many of these same overlooks and sights many years ago. It was awesome to see the same areas once again. Glad to show you new views , it was our first time on the USA side , I wanted to see what it looks like since we had been a few times on the Canadian side and having a 3 days in the area it was the good timing. I think I didn’t tell you that Hélène had her knee surgery last Thursday and that everything went ok she is at home since Friday and she is doing fine making her 3 times daily exercises…it will be a long journey before getting back to normal but so well worth it. This place is so lovely that it’s hard not to do some good takes 🤪 It’s one of the 7 wonder’s of the world 🤩 Hope you go there one day 😉👍 Hélène is working hard doing her exercises 3 times a day and she does them well 👍 She has almost no pain and is taking Tylenol and Celebrex pills for the pain and the swelling is with ice every 2 hrs in the daytime only . The ergo therapist came yesterday and is very happy with what she does . Looks like you had a really exciting day. Those views are magical. We walked almost all day exploring from pretty much every angle on our first visit then took in some of the attractions when my parents were with us on our second. We loved the walk ways below the Cave of the Winds which took us alongside the American Falls. It is a wonderful area to experience. We would like to see the falls in winter although it looks really cold. Helene seemed to be feeling the chill. Have a really Happy Easter.

Thanks Robert & Ivor …we had bad weather ( black ice ) with a power failure since Wednesday night 9 pm and still this afternoon at 16:40 without electricity except we have a generator since this morning at 9 am . Over 1 million houses without electricity and still over 600,000 this morning….maybe tonight will be 300,000 still left . Hélène is doing her exercises 3 times a day and we are well beside this power failure and the nice weather was back today to keep us from smiling 🙂 . Wondering if you still have your parents ? Hope you go one day and see both side with Tim . Depending on which side the wind is coming you can easily get quite wet and specially on the American side because the wind comes more from the Horse Shoe Fall which is the west side . My dearest friends! Well, I must say that you did very well to visit the American side too! Your visit to the waterfalls has thus been completely complete! Exciting images on this side too! What a unique experience to live.... I can only imagine the roar of the water! That must have been pretty impressive to listen to! I have to say that those boats in the middle of the water and the waves didn't inspire me at all! hahahah I'd be scared, I think! Thanks so much Renata glad you enjoyed watching it . Yes we did the both side …we have been before on the Canadian side but never on the American side and having 3 days stay we had time to go . Ha! Ha! Ha! Hélène dosent like the boat and waves either 🥴 . Sure must be awesome to see the falls that close 😳 We will be sharing places we visited in the area in the following weeks. Hélène finally had her operation for a new knee last Thursday afternoon and she is doing fine , a lot of exercises to do and it will be a long journey to recover completely. It was a nice drive around Niagara Falls. We had lunch in one of the restaurants around the main strip looking towards the falls. It was great. The American side is not as impressive in terms of water volume as the Canadian side. However, the walking trail is very nice with great views of the city, falls, bridges, and boats. Loved the footage, and it brought back some great memories ❤. I see that Helene found berries on the trail, too 😊! I hope you and Helene are well and that everything is going ok after the surgery 👍. Merci Karen et Laurie Le débit d’eau Canadien est supérieur à celui des USA effectivement. Oui la promenade est bien …en fait chaque côté à ses charmes et ils sont uniques . On n’a pas mangé les framboises…Lol! 🤣🤪 Nous avons eu la visite de la physiothérapeute aujourd’hui et elle n’en revient pas qu’Hélène n’a pas mal du tout et elle ne prend que du Tylenol et du Celebrex et aussi qu’elle réussit très bien ses exercices…c’est très encourageant! Love the depiction of Niagara Falls and the river on the map. It looks like a painting. Love the animals wire looking sculptures along the drive. Cute video of you in the parking lot before going up to Niagara Falls. I always wanted to do the Maid of the MIst, but we never got the chance. We went with family when we went, and they didn't really want to get wet. 😂😂. Cute pic by the falls. The falls are just gorgeous. They all look so funny wearing the red raincoats coming on and off the boats. Like little ants off a leaf floating on the water. Do you know how many bridal veil falls there are across the country? There are 39 across the US spread among 25 states. Plus there are a lot in Canada too. We've been to about 5 ourselves. It's a very popular name for falls. The map comes from Google earth 🌏 that I used since quite a while and I have to say that you are right it does look like a painting 🤪 Yep that’s what we look like in real life …in the parking…Lol! 🤪 Hélène don’t like to much to be on a boat specially if there’s waves…so we didn’t go on the Maid of the Mist 🤣 but I wouldn’t mind going! 😉 Getting wet is another thing also …you need to plan it good by having some spare clothes 👍 Bridal Veil name for falls is sure popular…I do remember seeing one in the Canadian Rockies near in the Icefield Parkway, didn’t know there was so much in the states do 😳 We had a great time indeed in Niagara Falls…I still would love to go again …there’s still things I would love to do ! On peut être fier je pense d’avoir ce petit morceau des chutes Niagara en fait le plus gros morceau. 😊 nous avions fait le rainbow bridge à avec les enfants il y a quelques années. Et on avait fait fait à pied le chemin jusqu’au chutes côté américain on nous avait donné des ponchos et des gougounes. J’en garde de très très bons souvenirs. Pas croyable que le côté canadien soit plus glamour que le côté américain. Les amis, je suis très surpris qu’il fasse la même température sur les deux côtés de la frontière. 😂😂😂 tes images sur Luna island sont vraiment belles et spectaculaire. dans notre cas nous avions fait que passer ça vaut vraiment la peine de prendre son temps comme tu as fait. When we visited the Niagara Falls, we only approached the US side with the American Falls. We took the opportunity to take the elevator down to the "Hurricane Deck" to experience the mist, which was fantastic. It now was great to watch your videos of both falls. The Canadian Falls seem more spectacular though, and next time we will try to cross the border to see the other side of the falls as well. Pooneh & Werner 🙂🙂

Salut Serge nous avons beau connaitre Niagara Falls avec toi cela est une nouvelle promenade sur ces magnifiques chutes et l'on voit l'œil de Serge qui prend au moment voulu la chute qui semble tomber sur le bateau c'est du plus bel effet , nous continuons notre voyage nous sommes dans les montagnes rocheuses du Colorado , nous avons eu beaucoup de neige pour faire la route parfois difficile de Taos au nouveau Mexique jusqu'à Silverton ,aujourd'hui nous avons un temps superbe et des que j'aurai le temps je vais faire une petite vidéo pour vous montrer les monticules de neige sur Silverton cela est impressionnant la Gare que vous connaissez est pratiquement recouverte de neige et l'on a du mal a s'imaginer le terminus du train je te montrerai tout cela . Nous pensons à Hélène qui doit être en rééducation nous lui souhaitons bon courage et nous savons que tu prens grand soin d'elle . Il y a un petit retard dans la réponse mais je sais que tu comprends que nous sommes sur beaucoup de visites et que je filme beaucoup .Pleins de bises a vous deux NICMIC 🥰🥰😉😉😘😘.

Merci beaucoup Nicole & Michel …ici beaucoup de nouveau …mercredi nous avons reçu beaucoup de verglas au Québec…plus de 1,100,000 abonnés à hydro Québec sans électricité…dont nous depuis 20:40 mercredi soir et toujours sans électricité au moment où je vous écrit …17:00 vendredi , mais Robert le frère d’Hélène est venu nous brancher une génératrice depuis ce matin 9 am pour ne pas perdre tous les repas congelés qu’Hélène avait préparé pour sa convalescence. Bien hâte de voir cette neige du Colorado 🤪 soyez prudents mais je sais qu’avec ce bolide de Ford Expédition vous en voiture pour faire face aux pires intempéries 🤣. Oui Hélène fait ses exercices religieusement et elle n’en saute aucune car elle veut se rétablir aux plus vites .
