This order (1460-1461) is the first order of XD60s ordered by Niagara Region (St. Catharines) and these are the only New Flyer artics in the fleet (May 2024). These units are powered by a Cummins 8.9L 6 cylinder ISL9 EPA2013 330HP engine paired with a Voith DIWA D864.5 4 speed transmission. These units feature 53 American Seating Metropolitan seating, Air Powered door motors and ride on MAN axles.
This video was filmed on route 424 Brock-Tupper Eastbound towards Summers Drive at Confederation Avenue starting at Brock University and ending at Summers Drive at Devine Crescent. Route 424 travels East and West using mostly Confederation Avenue to connect passengers from Brock University to Summers Drive at Devine Crescent.

Cant complain about them to be honest! The older Allison Xcelsior artics are sluggish off the line, but these pick up speed nice and quick!
