What I can’t believe is the fact that someone would bring that up in the first place, not knowing if it was on purpose or not. I definitely agree that he had every right to put that story of him crying to rest. I definitely think some people in the fandom are waaaaay to over-defensive about the boys. There are some well spun sob-stories of all the boys that either have or haven’t been debunked yet- like Liam not having anyone come to his 16th birthday, for instance. Personally, for myself, and I’m guessing what annoyed most of the fandom was him agreeing with the tweet saying “you wouldn’t be with modest if they had treated you ‘badly’” I think if they had phrased it as simply naming Niall, it probably wouldn’t get as much heat, but using a generic “you,” opened it more to people translating it to Niall speaking over the other boys’ dealings with management (both Modest! and Syco). This is not me saying that Niall’s life was all rainbows and sunshine, management NEVER treated him like a cash cow, or that his part in the band was less significant than the other boys’. Even now, I still am wary of Modest! and along with others, know how corrupt Syco is.

As a larrie, let me say that most of us, the best of us, love and support Louis and Harry as individuals. We just happen to believe in this thing between the two of them (which has tons of valid evidence) and we're entitled to our own opinions. And it's not like we're only in the 1D fandom for Larry or only like Louis/Harry for the other. The people who ARE like that aren't real fans of the boys. The thing that gets me mad is that non-larries talk about us as if we think Louis and Harry and their happiness as individual souls don't come first before anything else. We're fans of them first. There is so much more to this story which I have posted to Niall's You Tube and he has highlighted. First, Niall is the ONLY #1D bandmember to sit on the Board Of Directors of Modest Management, by their invitation. This happened many months ago when Niall signed a management contract with Modest to run his golf company. Does anyone honestly think that Niall would be under contract with Modest if they had mistreated him in anyway? Niall actually has three contracts with Modest. One Direction, his solo career and his golf company. Niall's pristine reputation precedes him. His value to Modest is like owning gold. Next, Simon Cowell said in the #1D movie 'This Is Us' that Niall was his favorite member of One Direction. Simon arranged for Modest Management to run the day-to-day management of One Direction. Simon, as President of One Direction's label, SYCO RECORDS, would never have permitted anyone to alter the volume of his favorite bandmember, #NiallHoran. As far as any photos of Niall crying I would say this. Niall was much younger and somewhat more emotional more than five years ago. Anyone, in a band or not, has other relationships and things happening in their life. Whatever Niall's opinion of these photos is, you can believe he is responding straight up. I have been following Niall since the day he walked on the XFactor stage to audition. He has been totally honest with his fans and business partners for ten years. If Niall was crying, he would admit it. If modest was treating him badly, he would have left. And if you love him, you should support him and stop starting fake drama. I don't know why people can be so stubborn and blinded by their opinions, that are sometimes wrong, and even if they were right, like why invade their personal lives and bring up something that happened 6 years ago and make drama about it. This am watched acoustic performance of Story of My Life, on Piers Morgan show, and Harry’s mic was off for his entire first vocal. Liam picked up second verse. Harry looked bewildered and gestured to someone off stage. His mic was on when he sang chorus. It was a technical problem, people. You think they’d purposefully shut off HARRY’s mic? No way.
