The listening to the audio callout is so key. The amount of times I've just dodged a doomfist or hog hook bc I heard it incoming is crazy

Very happy that my mistake on Busan @5:45 could be used to help others! ❤ Don't overcomplicate your process, Mercys - all I had to do was GA toward him, attach my beam, and continue back to my team! I didn't need to throw myself into that window. We like our complicated movement, but sometimes it's more harm than good!

My biggest mistake on Mercy was on the 28th of April 2007 when I got behind of the wheel of my 2003 Honda Civic after a long shift on a rainy night and due to my tiredness and the condition of the inadvertently lost control over my vehicle resulting in the death of three innocent bystanders, I was found not guilty in a court of law but personally I still deal with the guilt everyday.

Guardian Angel and movement with Mercy is definitely still a struggle. It’s like, I hear the words you’re saying… and in theory they should make sense… but my brain just can’t put it all together to make it actually work in the training area.

I feel so much better watching this now that I know how to finally play better as Mercy after 1 miserable month. Gosh it was so painful for me that I almost dropped the character completely but after much practice, i can finally do the job. My only concern now is how to play faster/constantly moving with Mercy like the crazy Mercy players I keep seeing that are constantly moving, healing, and keeping their teammates alive 24/7 which is so hard to counter and replicate.

I play widow on dps so my aim is pretty good, so I love taking out that pistol when there’s nothing better to do. I also love pre-firing a bunch of bullets right at a corner that I think a lot of enemies are going to turn, gotten a lot of elims like that

One of the things I learned way back since 2016 was the "sneaky rez". Ofc you can't rez 5 ppl anymore, but I ended up learning all the little gaps where I can get away with it, staying hidden. There's also ways you can start a rez then pull back behind cover while rezing. It'll help provide protection. Another thing I've done is when I've had one soul on the point to rez, my friend had her ult. You can see who has ult if they can't talk by looking at the player list before going in. Rezing lifeweaver to pop ult then stall the point was the best and craziest situation I've had so far 😂

I made dmg boost my primary fire and oh my god.. it made my gameplay much more smoother but also climb up from silver to plat.

I'm going to try this. Had great results doing this with Moira (swapping primary and secondary fire) and I noticed my performance drastically increase. Nice tip. Takes a while to get used to, and to this day, I still throw the wrong orb out with Moira sometimes, but this now feels even more natural than the default.

Ok that is a game changer. I was annoyed with my crouch causing me to trigger AD and have died multiple times trying to crouch as soon as I land rather than falling slowly. Didn’t realize it was a setting. Thank you!

Does mercy get reduced ult charge from damage boosting a tank than compared to a dps assuming same amount of damage?

Valkyrie counters Rammatra's Annihilation. You can use it to escape it, and help your team not die while in it. Watch out for punches upwards though.

my biggest issue on Mercy is forcing Rez, I sometimes try to pull a Rez in the open and die instantly. I haven't had this problem until recently, idk why I got this habit. I have been trying to stop it though

i use audio callout all the time, im always hyperaware of footsteps, shot sounds and stuff like that to the point there have been times i called out a footstep to my friend in vc and we ended up surviving a flank or ult because of it lol. this is also why i cant listen to music while playing, which is sad because music makes it more fun, but to me its just too distracting

Yes there’s better supports to do dps, but no one has the movement like mercy to zoom in and zoom out with a pistol? Plus imo, a 20 shot you know will land is better than 25% of a solider shot you don’t know is going to land, if someone is low, do it yourself rather than blue beaming a dps to do it for you. I feel like most mercies need to be able to be good at aiming her pistol to clutch fights giving the right timings

Do you think the Resurrect should be separated from the long arm/hand animation length? Can you do a video on this? I’ve been interrupted or bumped at the last millisecond after doing the already-long animation and cast time. Ability lost too easily. What if you resurrect still succeeds long as you did 95% of the cast time or animation.
