I just don't understand why Niantic couldn't just intersect the original avatar models with the update. That's all I'm asking; I want my character to wear men's clothes, sure, but I also want to retain my feminine figure-- fat or thin-- that's it!

We're like three weeks into this and everytime I see a Niantic/Pokémon Go video on youtube I tell them to revert the avatar update or it stays uninstalled on my phone.

Everywhere I look it's mainly the female playerbase complaining they removed their hips. And I agree. If they won't let us comment, I'm uninstalling the game, and everyone should too. A week of it uninstalled or not buying in app purchases will make them notice. They could have at least said it will be fixed but nah, they muting us, we shutting our wallets. We have to push back.

TPC has a significant amount of control and input in how Go is designed. The avatars were approved by TPC before they went live. TPC and Nintendo are majority investors in Niantic

The avatar update sucked. Should we have said fix to avatars on every tweet we could? No, probally not. Was it logical to shut off comments due to it? NO!!! Instead of fixing the problem (which would probally be fairly easy) they went to the extreme and pushed any and all feedback away. I don't get why they think these things are helping them, they lost money from nerfing remote raid passes and what did they do? Start scraping the bottom of the barrel to get money instead of FIXING IT!!! There either to blind to find out what went wrong (which is unlikely because we complain about it) or there to stubborn to admit they made a bad descision. Which honestly feels very likely.

Niantic hates Go because TPC has control over all of the game design elements (except for technical and UX/UI) but Niantic takes all of the heat. It’s not like they can say publicly that it’s TPCs fault that you hate certain things. The avatar thing was def more on Niantic but the remote raid changes were absolutely heavily influenced by TPC. Want proof? Go play Monster Hunter for a month and see how different the game is designed. Niantic wants to make money, if it were up to them remote raids would be unlimited.
