Niantic Has Shadow Released Online Multiplayer In Monster Hunter Now

Without a big trailer or anything like that, just a patch today you can play without nobody close at the hunt a tons. This video demonstrates how it works right now and a bit of what it means for the next update once kushala daora drops.

Thats Crazy!! I was playing yesterday and all of the sudden there were other people!!! I have been playing solo the entire time! this makes things so much nicer!!! Can't wait for more!!!

I have a friend in another country who just got into the game who desperately needs someone to play with. With this update, I might just hunt with my friends for a bit, but overall, I kinda dropped the game because the drop rate just wanted to be cruel with me. XD

I'm not sure if this system prioritizes matching with your friends. Works by matching everyone who is fighting the same hunt-a-ton somewhere else.
