And the marauder is well known as the quietest gun? Why is it? Even my airventuri avenger has only 85db with a 3d printed mod.

The Buck Rail Supperssor I put on my Maruder made it louder as well. But his supressor made a huge difference on my Avenge X.

My Marauder rifle (.22) is so quiet that all I hear is mechanical noise, I have not tried the BR rifle suppressor. But, my Marauder pistol was pretty loud, the BR pistol suppressor made quite a difference. The BR Chaser suppressor worked wonders on that gun.

I have a jst max and a marauder both in .22. I put a buck-rail moderator on the max and it made a very noticeable reduction in sound difference as it was louder than the marauder to begin with. I can't find a detailed drawing of the marauder's shroud/barrel end piece but I thought it had some holes drilled in the barrel end piece connecting to the outer shroud which act as a gas porting function on exhaust air but have not seen the holes on the jst max. I have not taken the barrels apart but the Marauder is about the same sound as the jst max with 6" 1.45" buck-rail suppressor. Both are amazingly quiet and accurate.

I will have to try it again outside. I was picking up the sound of the hammer dropping. its such a quiet gun I was really skeptical it would have any effect.

Internally moderated sounds fun until it prevents a whole country from getting them haha But it does sound mouse fart quiet to begin with... I wonder if the the spring could be making more noise than the shot too

If I remember correctly I had pulled the cardboard out of the target box so the only thing that the pellets were hitting was a rolled up pair of old blue jeans

@WalnutandSteel thanks I'm in the market for a pcp and I've read that marauders are one of the quietest ones so I'm surprised it's producing 103db. I have a gp brake barrel and it produces 93db. the only difference was that the target was maybe 30 yards away.

If you were to get a Armada breech it has a pic rail instead of dove trial on it and get in 25cal the barrel is a green mounten barrel the open the transfer port and it's basically a 25cal Armada with out the stock😉🎯🛠️👌✌️👍💯🍻

@@johnnybbgunner2136 UK is alot more permissive for air rifles than kenada... They can have 12fpe we can have 4.2fpe OR 500fps. But Ive heard that getting the FAC was harder than getting the PAL tho [If it was not for the shroud I could get one but with a firepew license]
