Thanks for the splendid video. Benjamin Marauders are crazy accurate, affordable and are loaded with advantages. One is that unlike with many PCPs out there, you can perform a DIY overhaul on one even on your dining room table. Just do this on a clean, thick old towel. Go slow, stay organized, use the right o rings, and quality pure-silicone high-pressure grease. Mine leaked from one of the o rings in the pressure gauge housing. I found a telltale shard from it upon removing the gauge just inside the recess above the thread- minor factory oops I guess. Your clear and introspective presentation made all of this an easy and fun fix. Further kudos for using a great symphonic soundtrack.

Thank you for making this video. Mine was delivered with a cracked stock so Pyramid Air replaced the whole gun. The replacement gun leaked and the safety didn't work. Crosman repaired this one. It came back with the trigger snapped off. So Crosman sent me a new complete trigger group ($110) for free. After about 18 months of screwing around I had a good rifle that I like very much. BTW Crosman CS told me that the most common leak point on Marauders is the pressure gauge and fill fitting threads.

I really enjoy your videos. Your explanation on the inner workings of these is well done. Thanks from a Blue Streak fan.

Thank you. I hope the fill port is the issue on mine.

Thanks for the video. I need to do this to mine . If you don't mind my asking where did you purchase the kit?
@NorthWestAirgun5 ай бұрын
I got the kit from Henry Ford on ebay. You can also call Crosman parts dept and order directly from them, but will have to know parts #'s from the parts diagram.

Are there vent holes near the valve stem rod to transfer some air towards the hammer? Do you know how the air travels towards the hammer?
@jonathanbrooks111017 күн бұрын
No vent holes, yeah, some way to move air past or thru the hammer would desirable.

I noticed that the valve did not have the second o-ring - the one closest to the hammer - when the valve came out of the tube, nor when the valve went back into the tube. Was that an oversight or on purpose because that second o-ring doesn't really matter in the performance of the SAM?
@NorthWestAirgun2 ай бұрын
Just the one oring. It's all that is needed, 3 screws secure and center the "hammer end" of the valve.

Sorry, I don't. Maybe try Baker Airguns at bakerairguns.com or check on ebay.

How much does crossman charge for replacing all those Orings? or is it a tune uo?

I don't know, maybe check with one of the service centers; www.crosman.com/service-centers

sir, i want to ask,if i may know,where is the blowback system,where does the wind pressure make the hummer and pellet probe return to semi auto,thanks in advance

Why would you not show how you took the snap ring out? Is it a trade secret?
@NorthWestAirgun11 ай бұрын
No, just that there's spring tension and watching a couple hours of me struggling with it doesn't make the video. And i'm not taking it apart again to show. i ended up making a fixture to put pressure on the spring, using a vise to tighten it, otherwise i'd never have gotten it out. I'll see if I have any video to show it and post if I do.

IMHO, you went too quickly, at least for me. I need to remove barrel to check that breech o-ring is in properly, I removed shroud but EXACTLY which screws do I loosen because I can't seems to get barrel out.
@jonathanbrooks111017 күн бұрын
Sorry, removing the barrel wasn’t the focus of the video. You should find 2 screws on top of the receiver, in the center ( not at the edges like the screws that hold the receiver to the tube). Those 2 screws hold the barrel in place, loosen them and you should be able to pull the barrel. Assuming you have removed the transfer port.

Do you think the Semi auto is as accurate as the bolt-operated model?
@NorthWestAirgun3 ай бұрын
no, mainly due to the trigger.
