Niccolò Paganini (1782-1840) : An Italian violinist and composer, Paganini was renowned for his virtuosic and innovative violin playing. Born in Genoa, he revolutionized violin technique, captivating audiences with his astonishing abilities and showmanship. Paganini's compositions, including his Variations on 'I Palpiti' Op.13, are marked by dazzling technical displays and inventive use of the violin's capabilities. A true Romantic virtuoso, Paganini's legacy as a performer and composer continues to inspire generations of musicians.

1. Sittichai Pengchareon, Violin
Sittichai Pengchareon, born in 1966 in Thailand, began studying violin with Dr. Paradee Traiwittayakul and Dr. Pratak Prateeprasen at the Dramatic Art College of Bangkok, later on continuing his studies with Col. Prof. Choochart Pitaksakorn at Chulalongkorn University.
He attained early success as a soloist with the most notable symphonic orchestras in Thailand. Sittichai was granted a scholarship to study with Rudolf Werthen and Henri Raudales at the Conservatory of Ghent in Belgium. He then went to the Detmold Music Academy in Germany to study with Christoph Poppen and Ulf Wallin. He was one of only a few special fund students of Erick Friedman at Yale University. Sittichai has also attended masterclasses with many renowned violinists including Alexander Schneider, Yuri Mazurkevid, Cyrus Forough, Tekishi Kuyabashi, Clarence Materschough, Lucas David, Shoko Aki, Alberto Lysy, Moche Mervich and Linda Rosenthal.
Sittichai's performances span a series of virtuoso recitals of Bach's 6 Sonatas and Partitas, Paganini's 24 caprices, Ysaye's 6 Sonatas, and as a soloist with professional orchestras. He has appeared as concertmaster with the Ibycus Chamber Orchestra, Royal Bangkok Symphony Orchestra, National Symphony Orchestra of Thailand, Thailand Philharmonic Orchestra as well as the World Symphony Orchestra in the Republic of Korea.
For many years, he was a violin instructor of Chulalongkorn University, Kasetsart University, and Mahidol University, He currently holds the position of violin instructor at Princess Galyani Vadhana Institute of Music.

2. Eri Nakagawa, Piano
Eri Nakagawa, a native of Osaka, Japan, has been on the piano faculty of College of Music, Mahidol University in Thailand since 1995. Prior to her appointment at Mahidol, she was Assistant Professor of Music Performance at Ball State University, Indiana, USA. She has been invited as a guest pianist and professor at the University of Northern Colorado in USA, Bruckner Conservatory in Linz, Bösendorfer Saal in Vienna, Yong Siew Toh Conservatory of Music in Singapore, Corfu Festival in Greece, Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts in Perth, Moulin d'Andé International Masterclasses in Normandy, France, Piano Plus Festival in Corfu, Greece, UCSI University in Kuala Lumpur, Beijing China Conservatory, Northwest Minzu University in Lanzhou, NanJing Xiaozhuang University, Zhejiang Conservatory of Music in Hangzhou, Sicily International Piano Festival, Piano Island Festival in Kuala Lumpur, etc. Besides giving frequent recitals, she has performed more than ten concertos with numerous orchestras. She also enjoys working as a collaborative pianist and accompanist with distinguished musicians in Thailand and abroad.
She graduated from Osaka Kyoiku University and continued postgraduate studies at Mukogawa Women's University in Japan. She completed her Master's and Doctoral degrees in piano performance at Ball State University. Among her principal teachers were Koji Tanaka, Naoyuki Inoue, Mitchell Andrews, and Pia Sebastiani.
Many of her students have won top prizes in national and international competitions, and her former students have received scholarships in prestigious schools such as Yong Siew Toh Conservatory of Music, Juilliard School, Mozarteum University Salzburg, Royal College of Music, etc. She received the Trinity Guildhall Award for Excellence in Music Teaching in 2010 and 2017, Teaching Award at the 13th Chopin International Piano Competition in ASIA in 2013, Best Teacher Award at the Kawai Music Competition 2016, and Mahidol Music Honor Award 2022.
