Ignore their nasty comments about the music! They don’t get the vibe of what you are showing us! Keep up the fabulous videos and the ultra FABULOUS music. I will be moving to either France or Nice in the near future! Your videos are helping me tremendously! Wendy

Stayed in Port Lympia myself for a while and I love it, such a convenient place to be. The ONLY CON I can think of is when the large ships arrive from corsica etc and what feels like hundreds of cars suddenly drive into the streets, you get some noise and smells from exhaust fumes!

I always welcome your informative videos. My primary concern about living in those places is what you do not say but have included in the video. If I lived there and had to hear other people's music (and not just your uncharacteristically intrusive soundtrack) I would have to keep the windows closed. I am used to living in densely packed neighborhoods (including Hong Kong) but always among respectful residents. I understand that some cultures like to share their music, especially during holidays. Since Nice is a favorite holiday destination noise could be a problem that I had not considered. Thank you for alerting me to that possibility. Bonne journee!

Thank you for watching! We're retired and full-time travelers. We've been on the road for three and a half years now. If we were to do a video on full-time travel, what questions would you want answered to help you decide?

Just found your channel, and we're loving the Nice videos as we're contemplating moving there. Would love it if you would include dog info in future videos, as that's a make-or-break issue for us. For example, do the buildings/apartments that you show allow dogs? Do the nearby parks allow dogs? Do the restaurants & shops that you recommend allow dogs? Thanks for considering this, and looking forward to more Nice videos! 😊🌴

Thank you for watching and congratulations on your decision to maybe move to Nice! In general, Nice is very dog friendly. They are welcome almost everywhere. Thank you for the tip to include pet information in future videos!

@@happygoluckytravel We've heard that Paris is very dog-friendly, but investigating it ourselves we discovered that they're not allowed in most parks! Deal breaker for sure if the only green space around is unavailable to your dog. Thanks for your videos - keep 'em coming!

Oh wow! I would like to know how you manage that. My husband just got his dual citizenship for Italy but if you don't have that, aren't you only allowed to stay 3 months (in each country)? So you don't own anything in US? I assume you rent apartments rather than stay in hotels. Is Nice your home base? Your video inspired us to go to Nice this year. We actually made Antibes our base.
@happygoluckytravel3 ай бұрын
Hi, We're like your husband. Otherwise, it's three months total in the 29 countries of the Schengen zone. Many people work through this by going to non-Schengen countries like the UK or nearby to Europe places like Eastern Europe and Turkey. We usually rent an apartment and we're full-time travelers, so no home base. How do you like Antibes?
@dawnroberts4153 ай бұрын
@@happygoluckytravel Thanks for the tip! You're lucky you both have dual citizenship. We enjoyed Antibes. We spent a couple of nights in Nice, but I think I enjoyed Antibes a little more. I watched. your videos on Puglia several times because we plan to go their in June. I liked the way Convesano looked. Would you suggest that as a home base while touring Puglia? Just have to ask, where are you guys now? Also, how do you travel full time with carrying all your clothes for the different seasons? Do you use AirBnB to book your apartments? Thanks for sharing.
@happygoluckytravel3 ай бұрын
Hi! So happy you found Antibes and enjoyed it so much! How lucky that you're headed to Puglia next summer! Conversano is a nice base for the middle section of Puglia if you plan to have a car (make sure its small). You can reach Polignano/Monopoli easily and all the cute inland villages. Lecce/Otranto are too far south for a day trip from Conversano. We went to Matera from Conversano -- it was doable, but also a little far for the day. Since we mostly stay in Mediterranean countries, we manage clothing for different seasons with layers. And we wear the same clothes a lot! We prefer to find the places we stay from local agencies that specialize in monthly rentals. However, we do end up using Airbnb a lot, too. Happy travels!

What’s a reasonable monthly cost of living estimate for a single individual in Nice 2024 ?
@happygoluckytravel5 ай бұрын
Thank you for watching. No two data sources have the same figures for cost of living. The criteria and everybody's spending patterns can be so different. Nice isn't among the most affordable cities in the world, but it is more affordable than Paris.
