Nice little review of the Sprite Alpine 4 Caravan.

We bought a 2013 Archway special Alpine 4. Off a friend's neighbour. Its our second van. Love her, the only thing we'd like is a front chest. With the slide out card table top. Some other dealer specials offer this. Also no heating into bathroom. So to avoid being chilly and dry towels. I extended heating from under the bed into bathroom. Y fitting off air ducting, drilled a 65mm hole in bathroom wall. Fitted a whale direction duct. All the bits cost around £30. Warm air now trickles into a cosy bathroom and drying room. Luxurious on cold nights. A mattresses topper was added, as my wife could feel that pea. Talking of bed, if your over 6ft. You might want to check you'll fit. We're both 5.6 and it feels "compact". The internal lights are in the right places for reading in bed or on the sofa. In fact you have lots of internal lighting options. If you put all the lights on, they'd see you from the Space station. It very easy to tow and tracks very well behind our Duster. At 21ft, fits on our drive and has proved to be an excellent couples van. You can get 4 adults around the dinner table. Tv swings around to face the bed or sofa, on a extending mount. As a HGV Driver i do question the poor weight distribution of fridge, oven, bed storage. Being on the same side. I try and load heavier items in the bottom of the excellent wardrobe. We get a weeks clothing hanging up, with shoes and walking boots below. Standard square bath mate fits in shower tray. Aqua roll and waste caddy also wedge in bathroom nicely.

Nice review. Should have put in the title that it's a 2020 model. We just picked up a dealer special 2109 for less than the new 2020 standard Alpine 4 and you get a lot of extras such as Diamond Pack, Sun roof, AL-KO ATC, AL-KO wheel lock receiver, 100W solar panel, Pleated window blinds, Door window and bin, external BBQ point, external 240v socket and a front locker to get access under the left front seat. If your looking at the Sprite Alpine 4 ... go and look at the dealer special variants of these (especially in Aug/Sept), you won't be disappointed! We got all that and a motor mover added for just under £18K!

@@Tintenter We were waiting for the 2020 models, but when we found the only changes were gabrics, stainless sink and decals, we went for the last model in the end of season sales. Would recommend to anyone that's the way to buy!

I bought a 2019. Great van. No issues as of yet. Only gripe is that the seats are a bit short for evening lounging. But its a compromise and its so light and easy to tow!

No. Most (all?) UK caravans don't. Use an external water tank, or hook up to mains water if you have a fully serviced pitch.

TV goes above the opening between bed and kitchen on either side (can be viewed from young or bed side).
