Just got back from shaldon just across the teign from where your van was parked. The lovely pub up on the hill that you mentioned is called The Ness. You can get a Cool little ferry across the teign to shaldon if you go back for just a few quid. Nice video.

Nice one Josie. I went to school in Teignmouth over 50 years ago. Seeing your video brought back memories. It is a nice town. Of course there are a lot of changes over the last 50 years, but some parts remain the same!

The slopey rock and the pub are both called "The Ness". Just where you were are two other pubs along "Back Beach". These are "The Ship" and "The New Inn". There's many more. I lived there for a few years before moving to Torquay. Edit: I was a bit early with my comment - Aha, you found "The Ship".
