Just down the line from our appartment at Magnan, the trams plunge into the 3.2 kilometre tunnel heading for Port Lympia at 70km/h, the fastest speed the trams can get on this line (despite maximum speed being 80km/h) because they are a new model, Alstom Citadis X05 trams! The thumbnail picture shows one heading into the darkness as it rides against the wind like The Magic Numbers wrote the song! Before departure, another tram emerges heading for Aeroport Terminal 2, giving the departing one some space for velocity!
