A "Sneak Peek" Inside adidas Global Director Jon Wexler's Office

Season 6 of Sneak Peek is officially underway, and we’re kicking things off with the most informative episode yet.
Jon Wexler, the adidas Global Director of Entertainment & Influencer Marketing, recently invited our Editor-In-Chief George Kiel III to his office on the adidas North America campus in Portland, Oregon to check out his stash of samples, autographed gems and more. Wexler also provides Kiel with an enlightening history lesson of adidas' footwear over the years in the kickoff episode of Sneak Peek Season 6, also known as, The Specifics.

You don't understand the importance of a brand like Adidas and how many insane models has had throughout the history and yet you open your mouth. There's not only Jordans out there people. Adidas brought you the gamebreaking EQT collections back in the 90s, Adicolor in the 80's (20 years before you started ruining/customizing your kicks)... Rivalry, Tobaccos, Campus, Superstar, Kegler Super, the Micropacers!!...the european city series (Dublin, Stockholm, etc) the tennis kicks they made in the 80's like the Nastase or the Edberg, the ZX series, the RunDMC endorsment series (Eldorado…)… so many dope shapes and designs to name… and yet you shit on this brand just because you can't tell the difference between a Stan Smith and a Superstar. And I'm not even an adidas head.. I love Adidas as much as Nike or New Balance or Asics (ok maybe I love Nike a bit more :P) , you name it… but the trefoil brand has been around for 75 years, show respect instead of talking shit just bc you dont know shit about the history of the stuff you ''collect''

Kanye made the yeezy 1s, (love the tan joints), 2s, and collabed with Louis Vuitton and did not fail to impress. Therefore with all the amazing shoes he's made, I doubt these will fail. You are right, there are those out there that get the shoes just because it's Kanyes Shoe, and/or get them because they feel the need to wear for others. I enjoy Kanyes music, matter of fact I have had drunk and hot girls on replay from the album graduation(deluxe version of course). not hating on adidas but they need to create more shoes about the future and the present and stop revisiting the past, not meaning it in a bad way. I mean the zx flux and the introduction of boost technology was nice but what i've been seeing every year is that they've been constantly making re-iterations of the same shoes from way back when they were hot. Companies like Under Armour are slowly catching up to the 2nd place so competition is just getting more fierce by the year. Hope to see more new stuff from Adidas though, most of their new products are really nice.
