Flatbedders Which Chain Binders Do You Like Most?

Under normal situations I used just a ratchet. But if the load was one that had a lot of give it where you could use up all the threads on a ratchet, I'd put ratchet along with a snap , then if things worked loose a little along the way I could put a few clicks on the ratchet and be good to go without resetting and tightening binders. Drove for 40 years. Flat bed was my favorite.

I am all about those snapp binders baby. Recoilless snap binders are where it's at. I was doing 60-100 ratchet binders a day floating for an asphalt company. destroyed my shoulders and wrists. after 8 years I switched to a new job and they use the recoilless snapp binders and I will never go back to a ratchet.

I want some EZ Binders. I been wanting to get me a couple and maybe persuade my company to steer toward them. They like ratchet and snap binders but I like my teeth and working that ratchet from the ground wears on your shoulder

I’d love to have that EZ binder but they don’t make it in 1/2”; I pull RGN and use 1/2” more then 3/8”. I’m planning on getting some of the folding handle binders.

They will hold. Get just as tight as any other binder
