Best compliment I've ever recieved was with Le Gemme Orom by Bvlgari. Sprayed on a sample in Disney world, a woman stopped me 30 minutes later and said she had been following the scent for minutes litterally dragging her boyfriend around to find out what the smell was so she could buy it for him. My girl was not impressed with Orom (said it was boring) so I never got a full bottle. I love angels share so I blind bought Halcyon. Fingers crossed 🤞 I'll report back after I get it.

I bought a very cheap looking perfume for 9€ its Scorpio noir absolu. It smelled extremely caotic and suuper strong and cheap after shave like at the beginning but 2 hours later it changed into something that drives me crazy!! A naughty scent that stayed for the whole day. Dark,woody,resinous,herbal and green. Lika a vintage scent

Have you tried Mancera Aoud Blue Notes. Its similar to Lemon Mint but a little more masculine, imo. Also Lattafa Oud Al Sahraa is a fantastic, really cheap alternative to Black Afgano.

Yes I have tried almost all of the men's line, but haltane is the only one I liked from opening to dry down I first bought samples before deciding to get a full bottle, it's similar but not the same as oud for greatness /initio

that angels' share fragrance you mentioned at the end is the best rated recent release on fragranctica according to my numbers. it beats blue electrique (2021), le male le parfum (2020), and sauvage elixir (2021) just to name a few :o

@@keithhogan2336 it's 95% the same as la nuit de l'homme apparently. was supposed to be just a stronger version of it (after people complained that it had been watered down) but i didn't like the extra note or whatever it had in it.

@@keithhogan2336 Fragrances reduce their concentrations for many reasons. Sometimes its companies being greedy, but other times it is out of their control (need to reduce them due to IFRA regulations, because substances are found to cause cancer or cause breathing difficulties in a small minority of people, ingredients from different places smelling different, batch variations, etc). In LNdlH's case, I heard it was because cardamom prices started to skyrocket due to startbucks adding the note to their coffees. Looking at the price charts just now, it looks like there was a clear spike in 2009 when the fragrance was released, but then afterwards it looks like it returned to normal levels. so the lower concentrations found in YSL's fragrance probably did not need to be so low and it looks like it was a money based decision (shrugs) Yea, I've been interested in adding noir extreme to my collection for a while now, but never pulled the trigger. I need to start earning more money I think xD. Spicebomb extreme is another great fragrance and one I think would be a good idea to get a few backups of. Both of them are top tier fragrances imo, right up there with aventus, dior homme intense, the one edp, layton, aqua di gio profumo, and terre d'hermes. if you like spicebomb extreme, i would recommend checking out terre d'hermes. they are quite different but both smell like they use quality ingredients (have that chanel-like vibe to them) and both include this soft soapy note. I dunno why, but I think this note is important makes these fragrances very likable for some reason xD.
