As I know are from 93-97ish and were played in Sheffields Niche and Capital Nightclubs and were sold in tapes (yes cassette tapes), they had a random colour inlet and were called niche, had what month they were created and what dj played them thats all that was on the cover, each niche dj released a set a month such as Shaun Scott, Nev Wright, Les & Mark Skelton, and my7 favourite Chris Bailey who I don't think plays anymore
