An excellent video. May she rest in peace. It was my privilege to have met her a few times at conventions. BTW, I like the way the original series music was used here; the selections were well-chosen and complemented Nichelle's narration nicely! Thank you!

At least you got to take the conn of the Enterprise in the animated Star Trek series episode "The Lorelei siginal". Rest in peace knowing that you helped make the world a little more equitable for races and genders to work together and improve mankind as we move into the future.

I wish she would of sung more and released album after album. I love videos of her at conventions just randomly breaking into song. A true one-off original with a wonderful energy. May she rest in peace. The greedy powers that be can recast these original legacy characters all they like, but there will only ever be one Uhura.

Nichelle is incredible in her recollections as well as her life but she may be incorrect about the Kiss. Check out when Nancy Sinatra kissed Sammy Davis Jr. in the 1967 NBC special Movin' with Nancy. That was almost a year earlier.

I am blown away. I have never seen this tv show. But then again I have never seen a Bruce Lee movie. And between the two? I would much rather watch Star Trek. We just don't get such shows in Scotland In case my name didn't give that away. Best regards. James Ray Bond.
