Nicholas Hoult ‘VERY EXCITED’ for David Corenswet's Superman (Exclusive)

Nicholas Hoult chats with ET's Denny Directo at the Los Angeles premiere of 'Nosferatu,' which flies into theaters on Dec. 25. Nicholas compares his experiences acting in two Dracula-inspired films: opposite Nicolas Cage in 'Renfield,' and most recently, with Bill Skarsgård in director Robert Eggers' take on the classic gothic tale. Ahead of James Gunn's 'Superman' next year, the actor also shares his excitement for DC Comics fans to watch David Corenswet as Clark Kent on the big screen.

@@irwinhiker5917 Preach, Cavill would of done well as aSuperman but he was stuck with someone who just didnt understand the character. Or at the very least preferred a certain version.

@ Certainly don’t blame him. He was just in crappy movies with crappy scripts 🤷‍♂️ But, I still can compare them look-wise, and the way they come off (their mannerisms and even voice) I prefer David. He’s just way more classic Chris Reeve like, judging from other tv-series and even in interviews. That’s why I’m saying it :-)

He kind of comes off as a bit arrogant/condescending/unaproachable to me in this interview. Pattinson seems a lot more approachable and humble as does Corenswet. Like they have a more humble charm that he lacks. Maybe, just maybe there is a reason he missed out on Batman and Superman. Excited for his Lex though. I think it might suit him more.
