I am retired firefighter/paramedic who worked a security detail when Bill was POTUS. She spent the night at a high dollar donor in the West LA area where we had dozens of uniformed police and a few of us FF/Medics assigned and we were all told we had to get and stay out of sight just before she arrived because she did not want to see any uniformed people around her. This while she would get in front of the media and lie about how much she loved police and firefighters. Al Gore was an ass as well (worked a motorcade with him), as was John Kerry. At least Bill Clinton was friendly to those protecting him.

I remember way back in the 90's she came to our city green to meet and greet, must have been for her husband. A lot of people went out to meet her but I had to wait until my lunch hour, which was a little later than others to go see her. As I crossed to the green I hesitated because everything was breaking up and most had left. But I thought she's just standing there with her team (security? pr?), I would just shake her hand and move on. She turned and saw me heading her way and gave me such a look. The smile was gone, the message was clearly 'do not approach me, I'm done". There literally seemed to be a dark aura around this woman in an instant. I stood there feeling foolish and just turned and went back to the office. Others were gushing over her. I didn't. And I never forgot seeing the real Hillary.
