The best-99,+99 and 66 where at adcc the only interesting in cji was the -80 bracket the +80 was basically a free Mil for nicky once Hugo was out

Everyone talking cji but if youre training for 2 years under a specific rule set you stay the course. Seems like thats the Danaher way.. Training for specific rule sets and events and sticking to them. Meregali getting injured was kinda fluke as he landed wrong.. Such is life. Hell be back and assert his dominance and redeem himself for sure.

It's just the game man, Saku did the same with the kimura.. Everyone got dumped cji adcc.. He landed wrong and fucked his shoulder up. He'll be back in a month teaching and training. As far as a fluke I don't see you training with him lol

I find it very interesting that many of the best in the world, i.e. previous world champions, all stayed and did ADCC. But in just avout every weight category, the ENTIRE rest of the division, all the top guys 2-4 or 5, did CJI.

Not sure what exactly you're suggesting by "about every weight category, the ENTIRE rest of the division, all the top guys 2-4 or 5, did CJI". 1) CJI was invitational, just 32 athletes in all. 2) Just two weight divisions, so no athletes from lower weight division competed. 3) From Craig's posts, it seems that the only one they really wanted to participate but didn't was Mika.

Incorrect!! Kade Routolo was the current (2022) ADCC champion that competed at CGI.

@@timothycarey3883 Yes you are right! The reason I did not mention Davies was because she was in the super fight with Dern and not competing, hopefully moving forward CGI introduces the women’s bracket as well.
