He is so wise at such a young age. The way he inspires his workers to work for themselves rather than using fear to control them is very wise. 以德服人. Even when his family discourage him to do business with disparaging remarks, he still went on to start his business. That is the mark of a true enterpreneur. A truly laudable man!

I'm from M'sia, just officially stepped into the post production line as a 3D artist last year after graduated frm college. It's so inspiring and gives me a new perspective of Malaysia's post production (even he says nothing abt it), and gives me courage on making my own CGI short film which I had failed for so many times. Thanks for whoever that uploaded this video, all the best to everyone who pursuing their dreams. And btw thanks for visiting my country for the company trip.

My guy friends went to the same school as him in Vancouver. They said he had a tough time and often got in fights. It's too bad he didn't graduate from highschool, the school he went to was an all boy's private school-very elite. It's charming to hear him talk with a slight Canadian (a bit of HK too?) accent, and saying things like "grade 10", instead of "tenth grade", which is what Americans say. Anyway, thank you for the upload. It gave me a nice break from my studies ^^

This video gave me a whole new perspective about him. His speech truly shows his character and personality well. He is so well spoken, intelligent, passionate, and hard working. I admire him so much. He is not only a major movie star/singer, he is also a young successful business man. NNcholas Tse is amazing.

For the first time I found he is so charming not only because of his appearance, but he is also a hardworking, ambitious and mature business man. He is so gentle, patient and thoughtful. He is different from the actor and singer Nicolas in stage or movie. He is shining all the time when he is delivering the speech.

Man...It's now 3:47am my time, and I watched this from beginning till the end. I thought to watch just for a while initially, and continue tomorrow morning. But, who knows, he's truly an inspirational young leader, and I like his personality. I gained so much valuable knowledge & insights from this 1.23 hours. For those of you who hesitate to watch it because of the duration of the video (I had the same thought earlier LOL), watch it, especially if you are going for entrepreneurship journey.

He having successful business and entertainment industry but fail at family. It might have come from his tight schedule from business and show biz. so he might have had less attention to family. but after all, it's worth coz he'd achieved what he had dream. so i got a lesson from him that nobody can perfect in everything. but he still got a chance to do what he wants. He is very admirable human. love him

I can see kindness and good intention from Nic to those students by willing to share his other side which he doesn't necessary have to. We can be benefited from learning how he lives life to be successful. He has definitely much more substance than those "stars" who can only talk rubbish daily on their weibo. I can see the tireness, hard efforts and suffering but still with good conscience and thankfulness on his non artificial face!

There're just too much things that somehow take away our attention to care for which made us living for the others instead. He is a great reminder of what we should be looking into. It looks like he learned from the past of what he have done and there you go, he went there as a storyteller telling us that he doesn't believe in perfection, there're always spaces for improvements.

This talk was open to all university staff and students. Both undergraduate and post-graduate. The additional teaching materials we are developing (written case and a 10-15min classroom video) are for use in the undergraduate program. They, however, can also be used at the post-graduate level.

Nicholas is quite amazing. He understood these concepts at such a young age but I think he's not yet adept at expressing these concepts-he often repeated vague, generic ideas like hard work, persistence yet is not quite willing to share accounts of his company's ups and downs to supplement his ideas. It was a good try though!

Why so much criticisms about one's English? These students obviously grew up in a Chinese-speaking community, of course they will not speak English with an American or British accent, or whatever accent you prefer. Good job to that girl who is at least trying her best in utilizing her English skills.

It is true that one of the interviewers has a heavy Hong Kong accent but she is merely a learning student. A good school gives opportunity to different students. I personally do not think someone that is not perfectly fluent or has a perfect pronunciation in English should just lock oneself in a room and stop speaking english. With an accent, it takes lot of courage to speak, especially in public. At least she tried her best. Don't despise someone that has the courage to try.

Does anyone know that without the GODLY hands from his father, he wouldn't have all those chances laid out in front of him? I don't hate the guy but for him to stand there to educate people about his success, I think its just another show for him to gain sympathy or more respect from the HK public, I am sure his publicist has assisted this part thereof.

do you think you will get into this industry if your dad wasn't an public figure in HK? If he wasn't then I think it will be difficult for you to start from scratch just becoming a singer to an actor and most importantly find the right passion because you will never come across the problem you had during the process of making that movie you talked about. Some people fail in college and some people got their piece of paper from university but without the management of their parents it is hard
