What I don't like about "Ready or not" is that after a few tries, you can memorize the map, locations and rooms. While games like "6 days in Fallujah" are randomly generated so you can't play the same map, room, building, furniture setup the same time.

I just got this game a few days ago, and I've been having a blast with it! Haven't ventured to multiplayer yet, but singleplayer is really fun! Brings me back to when I was a kid, playing Swat 4.

Yea Ron has that special something that most FPS dont have, It has a verry satisfying gunplay that most FPS simply cant climb up to at the same level in my opinion !

In addition, RoN is as good of a single-player CQB as it is CoOp. Its mod features are mostly very well dome. My favorites are the weapons add-ons. I am very happy that this game requires thought and the application of tactics. RoN is not just another run-n-gun twitchy finger game.

For anyone looking for something similar, and dont mind old graphics/gunplay, id suggest rainbow 6 3. In that game you command 3 squads and can swap in between them to execute. Also the bots are cool because you can plan out every movement before the level and have the bots run a whole operation while you clear contacts/objectives on the other side of the map. Ive never seen a game replicate that and ready or not feels like it to me, just in a more compact and polished package

I still prefer Swat 4. The Campaign is just so good and the multiplayer is fun. Do have to say Ready Or Nots multiplayer is definitely an improvement as well as gunplay. But Swat 4 has so much better map design imo. Also even though the NPCs are objectively worse, they are still pretty advanced especially for being so old.

This game is too fun to play. If I had the opportunity to play it, I would play it daily. You guys got to understand that it does get old Yes but playing it everyday you get to know each map very well!

I appreciate the tactical approach but from real life experience clearing rooms, at 4:10 you're very exposed. In reality you want to minimize your signature. You should be crouched at the back of the room looking forward to the stairs until you have back up ready to go up the stairs, with the door to your left wedged shut if possible. By holding right at the stairs, any person in real life would look down at you from the railing with the gun pointed at you, not approach from the top of the stairs. Therefore, they would have a major initial advantage on you. You can be as tactical as you want. Rule number one, your main priority is keeping yourself at an advantage. That advantage comes from minimum exposure for yourself and putting your adversaries into a place of more exposure than yourself. This obviously changes if there are boards like the ones that were in place. But did you know that?

I played Ground Branch before I ever tried Ready or Not and found Ready or Not night and day easier and way more forgiving. That being said RoN is much more enjoyable to play and a better playing more complete game. Probably because it doesn't have terminator AI that can 180 headshot you as soon as a millimeter of your body gets exposed lol

Mirrorgun or peek the door before you open it, you can either do it yourself or have the AI do it for you. Once you know it's there you can disarm it by cutting the wire

I'm guessing you never played any other tac shooter like insurgency sandstorm lmfao.. People there have thousands of hrs in that game but the ai, especially in hardcore, are fucking specimens.. Make one mistake and you die in a second, makes ron look like a piece of cake(with their nerfed ai due to having too many bad players)

The 'shuffling' and floating of the characters is a real turn of for me. It is really badly implemented technically is as is are the AI (or rather the lack thereof) and the stale NPC puppets that have like 2 states. Highly unrealistic as well even though some of these nerds truly believe they are playing like real SWAT officers. Please. Give me a break.
