All the Akatsuki's duos have philosophys, Now, Sasori and Deidara's was the art. One thinks that art is eternal, Sasori with his puppets tried to make "eternal" bodys, something that prevales. But to Deidara, art was spontaneum, efimerum, something impacting and drastic, just like his explosions. Hidan And Kakuzu was about the life and his dogmas. They were both "inmortals" Kakuzu being so old that he fighted 1st hokage, stealing hearts to prevale, and Hidan with his Kekkei Genkai of inmortality. But they was also dogmatic, One being religious at the level of fanatism, other being codicious of money at the level of fanatism.
