You should watch mugen train ep 1(basically they made mugen train into a 7 episode series a bit after the movie) it's part 1 of s2 and the first episode give a prologue with Rengoku before he actually went on the train. There was also other stuff added as extra content in it but I would just recommend to watch the first ep with Rengoku building up his character before the the giant Mugen Train fight (but then again you've litrally seen Rengoku die so it might ruin it). Anyways watch it if u want don't if u don't wanna it's all good with me ✌️ this is just a recommendation. Edit:WHY did it recommend me to use THIS emoji 😀 when I was talking about Rengoku dying near the end of this comment. Edit 2: I know it might seem a bit cringe to have a second edit but I just wanna thank you guys for the likes👌

Rengoku saying, "UMAI" is more than a random joke. In old Japan, warriors were taught to savor every bite of food, for it may be their last. He wasn't just being energetic, he was savoring every bite of his final meal.

That crow that was crying, that was Rengoku's crow. That bird has been with him ever since he passed the Final Selection. They've been through many hardships. Can you imagine its pain from seeing his long-time companion die? Tanjiro cried hard and he only met Rengoku months prior and has been his friend for a few hours. Also, can you imagine the crow's life? I don't know what happens to them after their demonslayer partner dies. Do they go and be with another demonslayer? If so, that crying crow, how many demonslayer partners has he had? With all of them dying, I am sure it thought that Rengoku would be the one that will stick.

I think the crow stayed with Rengoku’s, or well Kyojurou’s family and acted as their messenger after the events of this movie. I’m guessing that demon slayers that have lineages of swordsmen and maybe even Hashiras and stuff like the Rengoku family can keep the crow until that crow dies I guess and they’ll be assigned a new one. And then I guess the crowd get passed to different demon slayers after their respective demon slayer dies I suppose.

The fact that his dream was all about him being the leader, giving the orders and all, and HE was the only one who really listened to Rengoku in his final moments, telling them that you gotta move forward no matter how sad and useless you feel. It's also so sweet the way he tries to cheer them up, he dosen't know how to interact correctly with other people, and when he was depressed Tanjiro took him to training to lift his spirit, and now he's trying to do the same. It's a truly beautiful character development in just 2 scenes...(and the voice acting from Inosuke's VA..OMG you can feel how he's really trying not to cry but end up failing at the end).

Hello, here's my experience of the movie theater me and my friends went to. We were a group of 4 people and the film started at 11 pm and there were about 20 people in our cinema hall that night. We watched Mugen Train with subs. Whelp, long story short, almost everyone cried at the end and we even started talking to strangers sitting near us and they were crying too. After the movie has ended, the majority of people went out of the cinema together talking and crying and trying to cheer each other up and then we went outside and had been talking about the film moarning Rengoku on the street in the middle of a summer night. When I saw that Tanjiros soul was pure and full of warm blue skies, I literally started to tear up. And when the child like incarnations of his consciousness led him to his core and it was just a ball of pure light? That broke me. Tanjiro is so damn wholesome and pure, immovable.
@k.s.m.53892 жыл бұрын
As a manga reader, I just wanted to clear somethings 1. When rengoku killed the first demon on the train, it might or might not have been a dream. It wasn't explained clearly. 2. A person's unconscious realm reflects their personality. The reason why zennitsu's unconscious realm was dark is because of his low self-esteem 3. A normal person will not be able to be at their unconscious realm. That means that, zennitsu and innosuke are quite strong mentally 4. That fire power of nezuko is her blood demon art which was awoken in ep 19 s1 5. It's not like tanjiro's dad invaded tanjiro's dream. It's just that, tanjiro's subconscious was warning him in the form of his dad, nezuko's box and his own reflection. That means that all those answers were already existing deep in his heart 6. If tanjiro had severed the rope using his sword, the person invading the dream would end up not being able to gain consciousness forever. So tanjiro did the right thing by asking nezuko to burn the rope using her blood demon art 7. The reason why enmu did not try to kill the demon slayers in sleep, is because of their hight survival instinct and awareness. If a demon had approached them to kill them, they would have sensed the demon's high blood lust and would have reacted to it. That's why enmu used humans and if they had tried to kill them in their sleep, the demon slayers would have sensed it and reacted to it. However, rengoku still reacted when that girl did not try to kill him in his sleep directly but instead went for his spiritual core. That shows rengoku's high level of survival instinct and awareness as he was able to choke her, enough to restrain her but not to kill her even though she didn't show any blood lust. 8. Those little spirits in tanjiro's dream are the personification of his kindness

One thing people tend to misunderstand: it isn’t that the upper moons (the strong ones) rarely die- it’s that they’ve *never* died, not a single hashira has killed one and every single one that’s fought one has been killed, also rengoku although he did good he was never close to winning except maybe the last attack simply because he caught akaza off guard- not even upper moon 6 (the weakest out of the upper moons) has been killed and rengoku is nowhere near the strongest- it was never a fair fight.

the fact he tries to make tanjiro see his family hating him, and in most other shows or movies it causes massive anxiety and sadness in the character, but tanjiro doesnt even flinch or hesitate, he knows his family wouldnt say anything like that to him, not a sense of doubt or uncertainty, he doesnt just believe he knows, its such a good moment written amazingly, animated incredibly and voice acted beyond belief.

Well tbh, his special ability (or special sense) makes it nearly impossible to defeat him, that's why Rengoku had no chance against him unless he figured it out. Akaza didn't even show his full potential, since he was trying to convince him to become a Demon too.
@gridg18962 жыл бұрын
@@BenchNaldo nah even gyomei couldn't kill upper 4 or 6 purely because they have demon arts that make it difficult for a single person to kill them no matter how powerful you are. Gyomei can't be in two places at once to kill them. And Akaza and up he definitely couldn't kill alone

Akaza was toying with Rengoku. Like another poster has said, No Upper Moons have been killed by Hashira in over 100 years. Not a single one. Akaza recognized how strong Rengoku was (and could become) if he became a demon and wanted to recruit him. It was up until the point that at Rengoku's last attack that Akaza *finally* used "Annhilation" type attack. And when he did, he killed Rengoku in one hit. *That* is how strong the Upper Moons are.

The kids wanted to die having a beautiful dream which is what the demon offered them but the kid who entered in Tanjiro soul found peace just by looking at his soul.
