thank you so much for this interview, Marina Mdivani is my mom's godmother and hearing stories about her in my childhood made me really interested in how is she doing now. i'm so happy to see her well and getting to know more of her music career.

What an interesting story and such a beautiful and remarkable woman! As a lover of history and music (and a semi-ok piano player) this was such a joy to watch. Thank you for doing this and sharing with us! 💕

❤ wonderful to see and hear her stories. I spent a long time in that room at those pianos many years ago.

I've only watched a few minutes of this, but this is INCREDIBLE! I've not ever seen an interview on KZbin with someone like this before. Well done for this!

09:25 She must surely have SUCH a good brain to do this! 👍🙂

11:13 "Fortunately I did not tell anybody ... [they would have put me off the idea]". Exactly right. I've been put off my good ideas many many times by other people. For example, I wanted to upload music videos to KZbin when KZbin had just started. I told my father-in-law and he freaked out, so I didn't. Now I'm last to the party 🤪🙄😢. So she definitely did the right thing. Self belief unhindered by the doubts of others!

You won the lottery my friend! In my eye Maestro Mariana is the true successor to the Anton Rubenstein legacy. I can only imagine how much more recognized she would have been if she would have been a man. On a side note I'm very curious about the chess champions she met. I wonder if she met Petrosian and Spasky? What is it like to meet them for her?
