And majority of what I learned while moving out was stuff that I never learned growing up...so bc I learned how to be more independent i'm attracting people who are just like me ...a little spoiled, but doing things on their own. The fact she was forced to "wife up" at such a young as is ALOT, especially if you never do anything yourself. Those parents won't accept Nick because their standards are " take care of my daughter or youre useless." That's how most well-off parents think. sadly

Jess is really sweet but her 'negative' traits can become bothersome after sometime, (like her lack of basic housekeeping habits, especially since Nick grew up in a house hold where he generally had to clean up after himself ). That being said, Nick also has some notable insecurities which is why he (typically as men do) has a sensitive ego.. and maybe the in-laws/families had something to do with it too, who knows?
