What a man! I thought this interview was way too short. I could listen to him for at least one hour. Really inspiring

I was fortunate enough to have attended a clinic and talk with Nick a few years ago. Extremely inspiring and his dialogue full of mindful thoughts and in depth expertise. This interview encapsulates what makes Nick such a great person.

What I find most interesting about this interview is we all know Nick is a self promoter but the interesting part is how Matts Willander is so obviously uncomfortable in the interview couldn't stand to be around him and it was obvious

The only part where I disagree is that Lebron james would be great at tennis just because he is great at basketball. Yes physical attributes are a HUGE bonus, but there is this thing called talent. Tennis is and will always sport of talent first, mental strength second, and then physicality.
@gazorpazordfieldii30849 жыл бұрын
+Globox822 I agree with you, except Lebron James probably WOULD be one of the greats at tennis. Basketball absolutely has a higher standard of athleticism. The NBA is full of 6'4''-6'10'' players like MJ, Kobe, and Lebron _who literally move like 6'1'' Federer or Nadal._ There are a number of examples of players like Isner and Kyrgios who wouldn't even be drafted in basketball who can be top players in tennis. Anyone who can make the kind of shots MJ makes has the hand-eye coordination to crush tennis.
@Gregoryt7008 жыл бұрын
I agree. I think a lot of the eye-to-hand basketball coordination would translate well to tennis. Remember a former b-ball player named John Lucas (Maryland)? He was also an excellent tennis player, and made this very point about the two sports
@Gregoryt7008 жыл бұрын
PS - I'm no John Lucas, but these are the two sports I played in college

You're so fucking dumb man. He didn't say that. He was talking from a big picture perspective. In the idea that the guys with physical attributes are going to the sport with & where all the money is. It's nothing to do with specifically talking about Lebron James. My god you are a one dimensional simpleton.

Biggest fake the game has ever seen. He's good to talk though.He's a pretend coach and an actor. Anyone that's been coaching at the Academy knows he's a phony. If there's a camera around he used to suddenly appear from nowhere, stand on court behind a player and play act to the camera he's the coach pushing the reals coaches off camera.
