Pay attention to the lyrics and maybe you'll figure out why Nick sings it the way he does. He's not just singing, he's voice acting. Something that Hetfield will never be able to do. Well of course the original will be better, but your statement is still so ignorant. Metallica put their cover of this song on Garage, inc. which was solely a cover album to pay tribute to their favorite musicians. They weren't trying to out do anyone.
