BLM claimed that black people are subject to police brutality far more often than other races:a totally unfounded claim. The stats actually show that white and hispanic people are more likely to be killed unarmed. It's just a false narrative to create racial division. They also wish to create division on gender too. It was on their website for months till they realised it was giving them bad press and they removed it. There is no White priveledge, there is no institutionalised racism. It's all a lie. If BLM cared about black lives they would mention the 7000 black on black murders in the USA but they don't because they only want to talk about the single digit incidents where a white cop kills a black man. It’s very typical that when Englishmen talk about ‘British’ culture they’re talking about English culture.
@walterwang46693 жыл бұрын
I’m English and when I say British I don’t mean English. I actually think we should put an emphasis on British culture, but also put a great emphasis on national culture. The Irish should have a greater understanding of Irish culture, the English about English culture, Scots theirs and the same with the Welsh. And then educate each other on their respective cultures and histories. The Scottish are not English, and are very proud of that(as they should be) and the English are not Scottish and should be proud of that. That doesn’t mean they have to hate each other or anything.

We were the oppressed. That creates a different psyche in a population. It has cemented a particular world view in Jewish people, for example. Whether they realise it or not the English exude an arrogance, a sense of superiority and entitlement that you just don't see in the celtic nations. Its diluted now, as people move about much more but there is still that core upper class elitism at play in England....Boris, Cameron. Osborne etc. Don't tell me they don't feel innately superior to the rest of us. The scots are guilty of perpetuating this attitude ourselves.
