I think simply put areas where agriculture was easy to have and pacific circumstances determined the success of nations. Asia’s power came through strength in numbers. Rome has the Italian peninsula but it lacked the silver of Iberia, the grain of Egypt the iron and other resources of Gaul and so fourth and so taking from the Greeks and Persian learned to colonized, and got extremely lucky disease wiped out 90% of the native population allowing for the extreme cultivation of foreign crops like corn, grazing land and potatoes and silver, gold. I mean Hispanics are the by product of the remnants of the natives and the Mediterranean and that really only leaves Africa and quite simply they kinda got the short end of the stick, but I still abhor nick

@@thistagworked Objectively wrong. After Columbus brought european/Asian disease the population of the Americas went from 100 million to 10 million and most of the population was in central/South America there were fewer than 1.5 million natives in all of North America Europeans didn’t “civilized” the north.... it was empty barren land. South America: Europeans also came too but many Americans (like you and your god Nick Fuentes) hate them and it was actually the Europeans impressed with city’s of the Aztecs and the extreme wealth and crops of the South Americans. Cortez wasn’t able to conquer the Aztecs until smallpox wiped out 50% of the population leaving the city devastated and would continued to be plagued for decades after; so once again no “civilizing” just sheer luck due to disease.

They were only colonized in the 1920’s after the fall of the ottomans and Europeans held on to them for less than 3 decades Africa: once again very little genetic diversity from Europeans Africa’s population is less than 1% white so yeah you sure “colonized them” even the slaves brought to North America weren’t conquered by Europeans it was west African kingdoms who sold them to Europeans merchants you couldn’t even capture you’re own slaves.

@@Dorkeydaze The history of a country is obviously important. But for what it’s worth, Argentina, Chile, and Uruguay are the best countries to live in, in South America by a long stretch. And if you’re not going to live in America or Canada, but you want to stay in the America’s, Argentina, Chile and Uruguay are your best bet for a clean, relatively crime-less existence. I wouldn’t say that’s it’s a 1 to 1 correlation when it comes to race and country. But if you had to pick a country, any country that was either predominantly European or African, you’d be able say with good certainty the Europeans will produce a better civilisation. Nick of course, is ignorantly simplifying the matter.
@Dorkeydaze3 жыл бұрын
@@aurora3067 I agree to a certain extent that what made western civilization good came in part from european ingenuity but I give most of the success to cultural Christianity; colonialism in large part was mostly an endeavor to spread Christianity and create wealth. The general idea of colonizing came from the Spanish reconquest which was when the Spanish fought century’s to reclaim Iberia for the Christians after the Islamic expansion, and you can see this idea push forward with Spain and Portugal spreading Christianity to north and South America, and seeing the wealth the Spanish and Portuguese amass the English, French, Dutch, Russians also Enacted through colonialism building to create the modern western world.... even though it’s becoming more secular just like modern America is largely based upon the Romans, and the Romans upon the Greeks a lot of the humanitarian and economic benefits the western (mostly Protestant) nations have is due in large part to Christianity.
@aurora30673 жыл бұрын
@@Dorkeydaze Yes and no, the percentage of Europeans has been a better indicator of the relative greatness of that nation than the Christianity of that nation. Look at Uruguay, 90% European if I’m not mistaken, and it’s one of the most atheist nations in Latin America. Incredibly Godless relatively speaking. Colombia is far more Christian, and yet significantly worse. As is Peru, Dominican Republic, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, etc. oh! And Mexico. All incredibly Christian, and undeniably worse than Uruguay, or Argentina, or Chile. I would say the mixture of Christianity with Europeans is the key. But the European variable is not an interchangeable variable. Although to be fair, Modern Uruguay, Argentina, and Chile were still founded on Christianity so there is legitimacy to what you’re saying. But once again, Europe is the key. And it has been for at least a few centuries. I can tell you personally, that many parts of Argentina are nicer than America. America is just fundamentally a better country because the Founding Fathers were legitimate geniuses. More so than most people can fathom. And the Infrastructure set up in America was/is phenomenal. A shame to see where it’s going now. I definitely expect to see more and more white Americans move to South America in the coming decades. Not a massive amount, but certainly sizeable once the average American city becomes dirtier than the average Argentinian/Uruguayan city. Which really isn’t that far off unfortunately. Especially if you have an online business where you work anywhere. European South America isn’t bad a place to be. Southern Chile with the English, Germans, Russians and Croatians. Argentina with the Italians, Spaniards and Germans in the south. And Southern Brazil with a mix of various European groups. And basically all of Uruguay.

To be fair, Haiti had insane sanctions from France - And in Africa Botswana (85% swana ethnicity) is a pretty developed country. They also avoided real colonialism. As for mestizo versus southern europe. Argentina is around 90% pure italian, spanish, german, etc, with the former two cultures being dominant especially the italians. And while Argentina is the third best nation arguably in the region, the economic issues are insane, although similar in aspects to Italy, Spain, and Portugal's although Argentina's neighbors are less distinguished. The more mixed but still fairly European Chile is close to Portugal in level of development. Uruguay is solid and also has mainly spanish and italian blood and rivals Chile for quality of life. Also digression: University of Cape Town was a very solid global university during apartheid.

@長谷川恒男4 жыл бұрын
@Robo Redneck Well I can't do it in one comment but I can certainly say that multiple areas in sub-sharan africa did develop civilisation, particularly east africa an the nile valley, these include the kingdom of Kush (1070bc-350AD), Axum (1AD-6AD), Abyssinia( 6AD-1270), Kingdom of Punt (2,500BC-980BC), All of these also developed their own writing systems. Several city states similar in nature to the greek city states began to pop up in the 6th century on the swahili coast. Also africans did know about the wheel but didn't have a practical use for it outside of occasional horse drawn chariots used in war in the nile valley. Africa, at least the region where i'm from is not devoid of history or civilisation and I think it's wrong to paint the second largest continent with such a broad stroke.
@長谷川恒男4 жыл бұрын
@Solid Water Did I ask?
@長谷川恒男4 жыл бұрын
@Solid Water Also thats not a proper argument since there are many asian civilisations that produced NOTHING or just as much as those in the nile valley and eastern africa, Korean civilisation produced NOTHING unique until the 1960's, Japanese civilisation produced NOTHING until the decades ensuing the end of world war 2, Mongolian, Assyrian and mesopotamian civilisation produced NOTHING of value, south american civilisation produced nothing according to your gauging method of value, for that matter no civilisation in eastern europe produced anything that exceptional until very recently. The only reason you learn about most of those civilisations is because they are more relevant to the west than maybe the nile valley which wasn't even heavily explored by colonialists to begin with.
@長谷川恒男4 жыл бұрын
@Solid Water Actually Mesopotamia didn't appear until thousands of years after Sumeria, which was the first known civilisation. Mesopotamia didn't even innovate upon the developments of the Sumerians, meaning it was unimpressive according to your standards, Also East african civilisation has left it's mark in places like egypt, the abu simbal temple is one of the most popular tourist attractions in egypt and was a product of Nubian conquest. What i'm trying to say here is that all civilisations have inherit value wether or not they really had an impact on the world.
@長谷川恒男4 жыл бұрын
@Solid Water To add onto what i just said, swahili ships literally circumnavigated the globle as far east as the malay peninsula and south china, they traded with persians, arabs, chinese, indians and so on, they also built several city states and settlements as far out as comoros, the maldives and seychelles. The somali Ajuran sultanate dominated the indian ocean throughout the 13th century. Not to mention Abyssinia was the one of the first countries after armenia to embrace christianity. Also according to you Scandinavia and eastern europe are nothing because they made no important innovations to western civilisation. It seems that you are only downplaying east african and other civilisations because you are just not fond of them.
