The story behind this composition is.. A guitar teacher I once had named Jamie Glaser (Chick Corea, Luc Ponty etc.) explained to me that when writing melody, try to make it a conversation, with questions and answers.. So this piece is a conversation. Specifically it's the conversation you want to have in a relationship, but for whatever you reason can't swallow your pride enough to talk it out.
