Nick Jonas on living with diabetes, advice for teens who get a positive diagnosis

In a 1:1 interview with the Austin American-Statesman, Nick Jonas shares how he manages his diabetes, including while on stage with the Jonas Brothers, and his advice for any teens who may be diagnosed with diabetes.
He also shares how life has changed for him as a father with a "wonderful partner" in Priyanka Chopra Jonas.

My advice is to take magnesium, zinc, and b complex supplements and D3 plus selenium on a daily basis to help your skin and brain fog. Oh yeah and drink lots of water 24/7.

Nick, when you go on tour… you have to be able to get your CGM transmitter (1 every 90 days), sensor (1 every 30 days), insulin (in the fridge, up to a 6mo supply…)… when you go on tour, do you have your assistant and endocrinologist who can make sure you have a supply… ru in private insurance cause it’s better? Did you know the empire of Novartis (supplying insulin and rigging us plebs by not finding a cure) has larger revenue than MCDonalds or other large corporations. Shouldn’t they have the money for research and a cure :) How can we change the narrative that t1D is an obesity disease. .. haha… people are ignorant to t1D vs t2d. T2d is pretty much self induced from suffocating the pancreas and by the grace of God can be reversed. For t1D‘s we have a chronic illness and there could be a cure, but it hasn’t been discovered yet. Speak out more on t1D Nick let’s make a change 🌎 it’s hard for most people without insurance to get the diabetic coverage they need. I’ve been lowest of lows and Medicaid doesn’t provide quality endo’s or options… 🙏 Walmart even sells a novolog R but it’s such a generic version of insulin…. It doesn’t have an affect to BS effectively, but I’m not sure you know what I mean
