Nick & June | "She's My Friend" [2x09 + 2x10 promo]

Oh my God there was so many feels this last episode! Poor Nick, I couldn't stand the last scene when he tells June about Luke, he was so heartbroken. I mean, he probably just felt like there's no place for him in June's life and his dream of being with her and raising their baby is impossible. I know that Luke's her husband and knowing that he's okay may have given her hope but come on, Nick is right there, he's been with her in that hell that is Gilead and he knows what she's been through. Is it too much to ask for them to be together and live happily ever after? And damn Max Minghella! He's playing this character so perfectly... He's amazing! Oh, have you seen the promo of episode 10? I'M DEAD. Eden knows about June, I can't believe it! I hope she doesn't do anything to hurt my baby Nick. Can't wait for the next episode, I'm dying of anxiety. The Handmaid's Tale will be the end of me. Period.

I’m so so so sad about this too! June’s the only good thing he’s got left and now he has to let her go. He knows that he can’t be with her and they won’t raise their baby together. I’M DEVASTATED! He loves her so much that he would do what’s right, what’s better. After all “better never means better for everyone”. But ugh Nick is so loving and selfless, he deserves happiness.

Wonderfully done! Love the parallel of Nick lying to Luke about Waterford being the father and Nick holding June's hand over her belly after he finds out that he's going to be a father. I hate the foreshadowing coming with Eden.

i just watched this episode.. omg he did so much for her.. he loves her so much she could alteast say it back.. unlike useless LUKE whos done nothing for his family nick is fighting n doing all he can for his baby n JUNE.. omg i know hes gonna die or something.. i really wish they ended up together luke doesnt deserve her hes done nothing to get at her or his daughter.. omg nick i hope they can be together.. but i felt like it he knew when he seen luke that there was still love there.. OMG cant wait to see what else happens.. good video

I’m really hoping that Nick doesn’t die and that he’s okay and that he will find June and they will be together. I wanted them to end up raising their child together so much. I’m sure he feels like there’s still love between luke and june and there might be but after this episode and the way june looks at him and their connection it’s impossible to say that they don’t love each other. I’m looking forward to the next episode, i need to know what happened to Nick asap! Thank you watching 💕

I think that Nick told Luke that Waterford is the baby's father because he though it'll be easier for Luke to accept that she was raped than the fact that she had consented sex with another man. Nick really loves June and this is the way he proves it to her.

@Maisy Marrero Ramos I think the more likely reason was cos he knows how Luke would react if he found out that Nick was the father of June's baby and they would more than likely have ended in a fight cos as far as a very drunk Luke's concerned he's got a Gilead rapist right there in front of him. Imagine what would have happened if Nick had been arrested. Remember he's using his status as a 'nobody'/just the driver' to help June and he could lose his job as no doubt the Waterfords wouldn't be very happy if he was involved in a fight, it would affect their state visit to Canada and cause a diplomatic incident, also if he's arrested other people could have found the letters and of course if he lose his job bcos the Waterfords sack him it'll affect his relationship with June. And if it's Luke who's the one who gets arrested then June's not gonna be happy bcos at this point she still cares for Luke and might still be in love with him as I for one have never really been able to work out when she realises she's in love with Nick but whenever it is it's certainly not that night when he gets back from Canada and tells her he loves her for the second time! So lying to Luke and telling him that Waterford was the father of June's baby I think was more for those reasons rather than to give June chance to tell Luke in person cos at that point when would she even get a chance to even speak to him as she's still trapped in Gilead

What was that stack of papers or letters that Nick was carrying to give Rita the Waterfords Martha ? Wasn't that the same stacked of letters that June found behind the bath tub in or by her room 🗝️🛁 and was wondering what the first Handmaid for the Waterfords before June was there. June found out when she was laying down in her bed room closet that the handmaid killing herself! Did Nick know about the letters and other Handmaid suicide and what connection he might have been there when it happened! What is on thoes letters that are written?
