I understand his response after being called derivative by suggesting "anyone can do it". If you listen to those albums he made with Edmunds, Bremner and Williams, that music has aged so well. The level they played at as a band, the quality of the songs and production, there's not much to compare it to, not at that level. It's no secret what they were drawing from, but they made it their own. Great Rock'n Roll, ASAT.
