Yo can anyone answer me plz, i am really new to this and i really dont get this, why is it ok to let your 808 clip? I see nick doing it all the time and some other internet money members as well, is it really whatever to let it clip?
@huntermasson38483 жыл бұрын
A lot of the time people let it clip to get a distorted sound. It makes your drums hit harder with all of the extra clipping distortion u get with it. Like for example in this one made the 808 warmer and made the kick hit really hard in the mix. Its something to mess around with and Especially with what frequencies make the sound clip. A sound with a lot of sub Frequencies will clip very different from a sound with bass/mid frequencies. Hope that helps
@dedas36273 жыл бұрын
@@huntermasson3848 Thank you 🙏🏽 Helped a lot!
@audiostuff90652 жыл бұрын
its not actually clipping in the sense that youre thinking, the soft clipper/limiter is preventing it from clipping and squishing the dynamics. Without the plugin on the master channel it would be clipping.
@dedas36272 жыл бұрын

Bro they are all locked in contracts. Reason why ty fontaine, Ovrcz arent in internet money anymore. Yeah they make good beats and songs but it's prolly like a monopoly other there. Also we've all heard bad stories bout internet money before. That's why I cringe when young producers are like my goal is to be in internet money like nah. Kbeazy is a perfect example of staying in your own lane
@shabanshabani77213 жыл бұрын
@ProdMonja ty Fontaine has talked about internet money, yes they helped him and all that but ty left cus taz tried to force ty to change his name to michi. Remember before ty left on his insta it was michi. Yes michi is kinda fye but ty Fontaine better. So then they went there separate ways
