You can repitch the sample, but you cannot change the chords within the sample. If you really like the chord progression, recreate the chord progression and change the chord you want to change.

There is actually a way to reverse a loop without having to cut it and stuff...but you can only do it with the piano roll. Let’s say you have a 4 bars chord progressions...press ctrl+A to select every note. Then press alt+Y to open score flipper tool. Select “flip horizontally ” and press accept. Now if you render that pattern the notes will be playing backwards. And here comes the trick....if you reverse the rendered file the you don’t have to do all that cutting and shit. Hope this helped.

There is a reverse plugin from initial audio, which just reverses the chords and not the whole audio track. Really helpful while reversing loops

A slightly easier tip is to bring your already reversed sample into fruity slicer and click on the piano roll icon in the fruity slicer interface. In that menu there’s a preset called reverse. Still could be easier but it’s faster than what you’ve been doing.

At 4:45 I never used the Slip Tool before.. like ever.. and that would definitely save time with not having to cut and all that stuff. At 8:25 if you click the drop down menu for the sample or audio file - Then go to region I believe it is - There’s a chop option and when you hover over it they have chop by bar. But definitely wish they had it to where after it’s cut you can flip it from back to front in a click like you said. Thank you for making these tutorials man ❤️

PVLACE on the other hand always hiding the "secret sauce" tips and tricks that real producers give away for free, why? Sad imageline don't have that reverse feature rightnow maybe in future, but there is producer named simon servida, he just dropped a vst named retrograde, it really makes the reverse process easy.
