I think one capo is for the 6th string and the second capo higher up the fret board is for the rest of the strings.

@@hankmoody666 No, there's a very good reason why he doesn't just use drop D tuning, which he explains in his tutorial on KZbin. But without very long fingers, most people are going to find it impossible to play that F#m chord in the chorus and as for the stretches in the twiddly bits at the end, well...I've given up! What a great song!
