I was about to say the same thing. Coach Saban is smart! He knows how to work the media. So while he’s leading them to believe he is being serious with his comments he’s actually using reverse psychology to push his former team.

dont understand why anyone has issues with the 12 team. nfl has had it figured out for 50 years. how do you think people would react if a random committee picked the 4 best nfl teams at the end of the season based on strength of schedule and a whole bunch of bias to play in the playoffs.

Coaches don't win football games players do. Saban didn't win it all at Kent St, Michigan St, LSU, or with the Miami Dolphins. He won at Alabama because he had the best college players in America. Nick Saban has landed the No. 1 or No. 2 class in the recruiting rankings in each of the past five seasons, before he retired. No coach has every kicked a game winning field goal, caught a TD pass or sacked a QB.

@espn Heather is really good Finebaum use to be years ago. He had control on radio then agin on Television. but he stirs up his callers and they fight. If ESPN @espn had good sense they’d let him go and save that money.

Teams that had two losses didn’t have the opportunity to get in the playoffs because they lost two games. That Alabama team that lost two games by 4 points might have won the championship that year, but they lost two games, so no opportunity.
