I’m not a bama fan at all, but as legendary of a coach Saban was, he could also be a phenomenal comedian also. This was freaking hilarious

Many thanks Coach Saban for an unprecedented and epic 17 years of bringing Alabama to international prominence. We could never thank you and all the talented and hardworking players enough.

12 years. The first 2 and last 3 don't count.

Already missing Saban. Really like DeBoer but will miss Coach Saban on the sidelines and in press cons

Like DeBoer?... he hasn't coached yet so at least reserve some butt kissing.

hahaahahahaaha! on that... yeah. well, having watched Saban's teams from afar at MSU and LSU, it was clear that he built them into domination, the Rohan Davie team beat us like we were on a lower level and he was from Mobile. BUT, 2007, it was very hard to watch, the whole season. Franchione's first year looked way better to me in terms of everything, but especially line play execution. Maybe it was in contrast to Dubose. I began to wonder how much of Nick's runs were helped with solid assistants that may not be at AL. That 2007 loss was a shocker, I had a friend at Barber doing a track day that WE and we listened to it, it sounded bad. I should have known better and 2008 proved that the team had come together in the correct way. Lost in the SEC championship to Tebow... WOW. Before that tho I was thinking AL record would have been better without a change in 2007. Thanks Nick, you set a high bar... who can cross it?

Put some respect on ULM. They won a national championship in 1987 football season. At the time this was NLU. In Pocatello Idaho.

As a Georgia fan, I wasn't sold on Kirby truly until I saw Saban tearing up and comparing him to Coca-Cola (which is pretty BIG in the South...and beyond) at the press conference when Kirby left. After Saban gave his blessing, I knew the Dawgs were about to be elite again. Saban is the 🐐...

He told the exact same story about losing to UAB while at LSU.

Couldn't have been exactly the same story... he didn't have a championship ring to be wearing yet when LSU lost to UAB.

AL is just not going to look the same without Saban on the sidelines.

After they lost to ULM, LSU beat them. Les Miles offered the following: "They struggle against Louisiana schools." Speaking of Les Miles, where's he at and what's he doing today?

21-14 ULM. Give them some credit, they won. Most 2nd and 3rd teamers at Bama would start at ULM. I don't care about all the suspended players. ULM went to Tuscaloosa and beat Bama. Might never happen again. But it did that day.
